Synopsis

Developments in science and technology have carried the textile field beyond traditional production approaches, transforming it into an innovative, sustainable, and multidimensional area of research. Today, textile science and engineering continue to evolve as dynamic disciplines shaped by the intersection of material science, environmental awareness, and performance-oriented approaches.

The book Innovative Studies in Textile Science and Engineering brings together contemporary scientific studies in the field of textiles, aiming to highlight innovative perspectives with a focus on natural and bio-based materials. The studies included in this volume address the structural characteristics of textile materials and their relationships with use and performance from a scientific standpoint.

It is expected that the contributions presented in this book will provide both theoretical and practical value to the field of textile science and engineering, while also offering a foundation for future research, particularly in the context of sustainability and innovation.

The editors would like to express their sincere gratitude to the contributing authors for their valuable scientific contributions and to the staff of Ozgur Press for their support throughout the publication process.
