Synopsis

Septorhinoplasty (SRP) is one of the most popular cosmetic surgeries in recent years. The aim of septorhinoplasty is to make aesthetic and reconstructive changes in the appearance of the nose, along with improvements in nasal functions. Septorhinoplasty surgery can be performed in two ways: closed method and open method. These surgeries consist of elevating the nasal soft tissue envelope, detecting aesthetic and functional problems in the nasal dorsum and nasal tip, and correcting these deformities. The nasal type area is very important in terms of aesthetic appearance and functional results. The tip area has a critical step in a successful septorhinoplasty surgery. The characteristics of septoplasty and nasal septum problems are very important in terms of functional results. A successful septorhinoplasty surgery must necessarily combine functional and aesthetic goals.
