Pregnancies that continue as a result of the development of the blastocyst formed after fertilization in the ampullary region of the Tuba Uterina by attaching to a tissue other than the endometrium are called ectopic pregnancy. An ectopic pregnancy is encountered in 1-2% of all first trimester pregnancies. Although the rate is a small number among all pregnancies, it is an important disease among the causes of pregnancy-related maternal deaths. However, the possibility of early diagnosis increases with the use of ßHcg measurements and transvaginal ultrasonography. With early diagnosis, it has become possible to reduce maternal survival and loss of maternal reproductive organs.
