Synopsis

Performance in sports can be defined as the optimum efficiency of athletes' athletic structures while exhibiting psychomotor skills. In short, it is the reflection of training efficiency in the competition environment. Performance consists of many internal and external components. The most important of these components are energy systems and efficient utilisation, neuro-muscular system and perception management and psychological factors. In order to measure all these systems and other component systems, measurement tools that include many parameters are needed. Performance measurement is an evaluation scale that is needed by field scientists not only in sports but also in all areas of life. These scales and test tools help us to interpret the current situation of our athletes or students as the main source we have. At this point, many technologies that provide us with convenience in performance measurements with today's technologies have also developed. Technological developments offer great opportunities to measure performance measurements as soon as possible and to evaluate efficiency in short periods of time.
