This study aims to determine the nature of posts on social media platforms regarding women who have lost their lives to violence and how these posts portray these homicides. This study specifically examined the portrayal of femicides in artificial intelligence animated photo posts on Instagram and the content of comments on these posts using a qualitative content analysis approach. The study examined and analyzed a total of five posts in detail. Four basic questions were formulated, and answers were sought as part of the study's objectives: the nature of the portrayal of femicides, whether the details of the homicides were included, the heart of the comments on the posts, and the inclusion or exclusion of emotional background music in these posts. The study found that posts about femicide on social media platforms comprehensively portrayed the incidents.
