Synopsis

Germicidal Ultra violet (UV) lamps are known to be effective against many disease agents such as tuberculosis, flu and Covid 19, which are transmitted through air or droplets. The selection, installation, maintenance and use of these lamps are very important in both preventing their harm and increasing their effectiveness.

The most effective light wavelength (254nm) for microorganisms is UV-c lamps, which can be used in water, air and/or surface disinfection with different models and types of fixtures.

These lamps have the potential to reduce infection in public areas such as shopping malls, airports, hospitals, schools, dormitories and nurseries.
