Synopsis

Developing countries have been moving towards a digital future for many years. One of the sectors that has been heavily impacted by technology is healthcare. The use of artificial intelligence in healthcare has increased over time. For example, one of the areas where the Internet of Things is being used is to collect data from patients through wearable technology devices that provide important information to doctors. The role of information and communication technologies in pharmacy is becoming increasingly important as the healthcare profession continues to evolve from a product-oriented to a patient-oriented profession. Although there are concerns that digital pharmacies and the traditional pharmacy profession may be threatened, it has been noted that these practices will not replace the empathy, face-to-face communication and many other services in real pharmacies. With the COVID-19 epidemic, there was concern about the disruption of education, but education continued in many parts of the world thanks to digital technologies. It has been argued that in the ever-changing healthcare and education environment, it is necessary to aim for the highest efficiency with new pedagogical strategies. digital solutions; traditional pharmacy services such as medication compliance, medication tracking and health literacy development for patients; for the pharmacy, it is thought to support costs and facilitate services. Online pharmacy services with examples from around the world; it should be emphasised that social services such as face-to-face communication, empathy and drug counselling in pharmacies cannot be replaced. The use of technology in education has become inevitable due to the COVID-19 epidemic, which has dragged the whole world into compulsory change. It is believed that the new generation of digital native students will find it much easier to adapt to these technologies. There are advantages such as ease of continuing education, reduction of costs such as stationery, time savings and ease of self-learning. At the same time, there are problems such as the inability of all sections of society to access these technological developments due to financial constraints. It is felt that it would be beneficial for governments, businesses and politicians to discuss this issue and allocate a budget
