Synopsis

Today, mobile devices called smart phones have become an important part of daily life. With features such as easy portability, wide screen and internet access, students use smart phones extensively to access social media, and this can cause problematic use of the devices and spend more time than necessary. A video game that is played primarily on the internet, another computer network, or partially played on modern game platforms and in different genres, including personal computers, mobile devices and consoles, appears as online games. Although shopping addiction, which is associated with psychological symptoms such as anxiety and depression, is a behavioral addiction, it is stated that it is a serious type of addiction that individuals have difficulty in controlling. Excessive buying behavior usually occurs in situations of inappropriate feelings, stressful situations, tension and experience. Sharing sites such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Tumblr and Linkedin are one of the social media networks that are very popular and have entered our lives, and have been used by many people in the world and in Turkey for a long time. Especially individuals in the young population use internet technology to access social media. The situation that leads to addiction, verb types increase the duration of use of individuals. In this context, contrary to the decrease in usage periods and rates, it is predicted that there will be a rapid increase.
