Synopsis

There are studies on the positive effects of technology integration in physical education classes on students and effective learning. In these studies, it is known that mostly video-based applications and different mobile applications have positive effects on students' learning basic techniques and skill development in various sports branches. The use of technology in physical education classes can also positively affect students' participation in physical activity and class (Akşit & Dalkıran, 2022).

In course applications with technological materials, students' learning rates are higher. Slides, videos, pictures or posters used in lesson programmes have a positive effect on students' visual learning.

In the field of special education, especially in the field of movement education, exercise, games and sportive activities for individuals with special needs, the tendency towards contemporary methods and techniques, innovative approaches and researches has gained momentum by moving away from the traditional model in sports sciences education. The change in education models in today's world, which is called information technology and new technologies, has brought a new horizon in the education of individuals with special needs. These changes have created a number of opportunities in the field of education. Computer, slide, internet, video and many technological tools have started to be used in the learning-teaching process to achieve more gains.
