Synopsis

Nurses need to be managed very well because they undertake very important and critical duties in the health care sector and constitute the largest professional group in number. Today, many problems experienced in health care services and nursing are due to poor management of nursing services. For this reason, it is very important to reveal in detail the roles and responsibilities of unit charge nurses, who are responsible for the management of direct patient care services. Unit charge nurses have very important roles and responsibilities in ensuring nurse and patient satisfaction, improving the quality of care services, and providing cost-effective and safe care. In order for unit charge nurses to manage health care services at the clinical level, they must know their roles and responsibilities determined by law very well and be competent in the field of management. In today's nursing, it is necessary to develop the necessary leadership practices to ensure nursing autonomy and professionalism, as well as to establish the technical competence of nurses.
