It can be said that the maintenance of a healthy society also depends on the success of these processes. On the other hand, recreational application areas that directly concern public health have strategic importance for local governments and should be evaluated from various dimensions. First of all, the economic dimension of these applications should be examined. Recreational facilities, sporting events and tourist attractions can make significant contributions to local economies. These events stimulate the tourism sector, creating employment and can provide new opportunities for local businesses. Thus, it can be said that local governments have the potential to increase their revenues. Additionally, the social dimension of recreational practices cannot be ignored. Public sports venues, outdoor events and festivals can improve the quality of life of local communities. Such activities can strengthen social bonds by increasing social interaction while promoting physical health. Local governments have a responsibility to invest in such activities to improve community well-being and promote social integration. The importance of recreational practices in terms of environmental sustainability is also noteworthy. Conservation and sustainable management of natural areas is essential to minimize the negative environmental impacts of these practices.
