Synopsis

It is a known fact that an uninterrupted, cheap and high quality energy supply is needed to sustain development. Considering the environmental disadvantages, the search for alternative energy sources has led to the focus of studies in this field on solar energy, which is a reliable and environmentally friendly renewable energy source with almost unlimited energy. Another important environmental factor affecting the efficiency of solar panels is the contamination of the panel surface with dust, mud, bird feces, leaves, etc. In particular, the geographical location of the region where solar panels are placed greatly affects energy efficiency as a result of contamination of the panel surfaces. It has been determined that the efficiency of the panel surfaces is affected by 4% to 32% due to contamination, especially from dust. It is of great importance to minimize the effects of dust and dirt parameters, which are one of the most important parameters for increasing the efficiency of PV power plants, which have the highest number in our country. Electrostatic cleaning is recommended in terms of PV panel cleaning costs and saving water, which is our source of life in today's world.
