Gastronomy Routes in Turkey

Synopsis

Turkey has a wide culinary accumulation due to being home to many civilizations. Despite this accumulation, it is seen that it is not in the position it deserves in terms of gastronomy tourism. With the recently developing gastronomic tourism, Turkish cuisine has also started to develop and be recognized. Gastronomy routes are being created in order to develop Turkey's current gastronomic potential and to increase touristic travels. In this study, previously created gastronomy routes in different regions of Turkey were examined. According to this, it is thought that the number of gastronomy routes in Turkey is low and there are not enough promotional activities about the existing routes.
