Synopsis

Technology is present in every aspect of daily life all over the world. The widespread technology has also been reflected in healthcare applications, especially in areas such as computer-based applications, communication and network Technologies. With the introduction of technology into the field of health, nursing practices and caregiving have changed. At the core of nursing is caregiving and humanism. Therefore, nurses act in the light of human feelings such as compassion and trust while giving care. Touch is also important in human relations, the presence of technology and interfering devices cause patients to be deprived of a warm hand. Difficulties such as supplying medicines and materials and paperwork reduce the time nurses spend with patients and reduce the quality of care. On the other hand, the use of technology in areas that do not require human interaction reduces the other burdens of nurses, causing them to spend more time with their patients and increasing the quality of care.
