Özet

With great enthusiasm and motivation from the considerable interest and valuable feedback we received on the first edition of our book, "Rising Trend in Health Sciences: Gamification," we are delighted to present this second edition to you, our esteemed readers.

In this second edition, we have included unique and innovative topics such as developing emotional skills through gamification in psychiatric nursing, patient-centered gamification approaches to accelerate postoperative recovery, the player type models for supporting long-term behavior change in physical therapy, innovative gamification techniques in auditory rehabilitation, interactive solutions to reduce stress and anxiety in children, and gamification practices in the education of healthcare professionals.

Our aim with this book is to inspire academics, clinicians, educators, students, and professionals interested in innovative practices in healthcare and to guide them in exploring the transformative power of gamification.

We sincerely thank all contributing authors who made this book possible, and we hope this work will lead to new discoveries, collaborations, and innovations in the field of gamification in healthcare.
