Synopsis

The fly ashes, called a by -product of thermal power plants, cause storage problems and environmental pollution in the power plants as waste. In this study, it is aimed to produce briquette production by adding waste stone wool as a cement substitution material of essential ash. Briquette production was performed by adding 30 %volatile ash and 5-10-15 %waste stone wool instead of cement. Heat conductivity and ultrasonic sound permeability experiments were performed on the produced briquette samples. As a result of the study, it is thought that volatile ash and waste stone wool added briquette samples will contribute to the literature.
