Ozgur Publishing and Distribution Limited was founded in 1969 as a distribution company and started publishing in 1982. Between 1982 and 2022, the Press published more than 500 works, including novels, short stories, poetry, child development, special education, Turkish classics, hobby books, and many academic books.
Since 2022, Ozgur Press has focused on academic publishing. The Press publishes open-access books and chapters across a wide range of areas within science, technology, medicine, the humanities and social sciences.
Ozgur Press aims to contribute to disseminating ever-expanding scientific knowledge by publishing high-quality scientific books per international publishing standards and ethical principles.
