Synopsis

This Abstract Book brings together the scientific contributions presented at the 5th International Congress on Digital Business, Management and Economics (ICDBME 2025). Over the course of the congress, a comprehensive academic programme was delivered through numerous parallel sessions, providing a vibrant platform for scholarly exchange across disciplines.

The congress hosted a broad and diverse community of researchers from different countries and institutions. The presented papers addressed contemporary challenges and emerging opportunities shaped by digitalization, focusing on key themes such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence, fintech, sustainability, green growth, governance, social change, inequality, health, and energy. In this respect, ICDBME 2025 fostered dialogue between theoretical inquiry and applied research, contributing to both academic debate and policy-relevant discussions.

The abstracts included in this volume reflect the richness of perspectives, methodologies, and empirical approaches adopted by the contributors. Collectively, they offer valuable insights into the economic, managerial, and societal implications of digital transformation and provide a solid foundation for future academic research and practical applications.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all authors, reviewers, session chairs, and members of the organizing committees whose efforts ensured the scientific quality and successful realization of the congress. It is our hope that this Abstract Book will serve as a useful reference and an inspiring resource for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers alike.
