Synopsis

This section examines the psychosocial factors that influence swimmers' athletic performance and commitment to sports. The effects of factors such as psychological resilience, anxiety, stress, attention, self-confidence, and motivation on swimmers' performance are examined. Athletes with high psychological resilience can more easily cope with pressure and challenges, while their attention and focus skills contribute to optimizing athletic performance during competition and training. Furthermore, keeping anxiety and stress under control has been shown to prevent declines in athletic performance, while self-confidence and motivation increase athletes' self-confidence and reduce the risk of withdrawal from sports. Furthermore, coach-athlete communication can also play a decisive role in swimmers' psychosocial development. Effective and supportive communication increases athletes' motivation and performance levels, while oppressive communication increases athletes' anxiety and can lead to a decrease in motivation.

Based on all of this, this section concludes that holistic management of psychosocial factors in swimmers is crucial for both enhancing athletic success and ensuring healthy psychological development.
