Individuals who are introduced to sports, particularly during childhood and adolescence, are seen to develop healthy habits that last a lifetime and become more socially integrated individuals. Taekwondo is a sport that focuses on values such as mental resilience, self-control, respect, and responsibility, in addition to physical development. Numerous academic studies have shown that it has significant effects on social adaptation, self-confidence development, and psychological resilience, especially in children and young people.
