Synopsis
Today, technological developments are rapidly affecting people. One of the areas affected by technological advances is gastronomy, which is significantly changing the workflow in this field. The use of technological innovations in gastronomy is not limited to production tools, but also extends to the service area, ordering, and network systems. Technological elements are actively used in gastronomy, from food processing to presentation. In this context, it has become inevitable to examine the possible areas of application of artificial intelligence in gastronomy and the benefits it will provide to gastronomy. In this context, studies related to gastronomy and artificial intelligence have been examined. When evaluated in this context, it can be ascertained that gastronomy is in harmony with digital developments and will be able to adapt to future developments. The study concluded that artificial intelligence technology is no longer considered a science fiction fantasy or something out of a movie, but is frequently used in the gastronomy community. Addressing the potential of artificial intelligence technology can play a significant role in understanding possible future gastronomy trends and applications.
