This book has been prepared based on the scientific outputs of the research project numbered 2021-İHT-006, titled ‘Mobile Health and Functional Health Literacy’ and conducted under the auspices of the Aksaray University Sports and Health Specialisation Coordination Unit. The aim of the study is to determine individuals' level of health literacy and to offer suggestions for improvement in this area. In this context, the functional, interactive, and critical health literacy levels of individuals living in Aksaray province and their use of mobile health services were analysed.

This book aims to serve as both a theoretical and practical resource for academics, health professionals, policymakers, and all stakeholders working in the field of digital health. It also emphasises the need to address strategies for improving health literacy in conjunction with mobile health applications. We hope that the research findings will contribute to new research and applications in the field of mobile health and health literacy in Turkey.
