Financial matters are always among the topics that attract the most interest from economics academics, students studying economics and business, businesspeople, politicians and ordinary individuals. For finance, it would not be an exaggeration to say that it is perhaps the most popular of all economic topics. Finance plays a critical role, much like the circulation of blood in the body, through the provision and effective use of vital funds (capital) at an appropriate cost—funds essential for the functioning of the real economy, the financing of investments, risk management and sustainable growth. Finance-related matters are disciplines that require the most change and competition, alongside experiencing change and transformation at a very rapid pace. This change and competition has extended beyond national borders and reached a global dimension. Consequently, the field of finance, which is an extremely dynamic subject, attracts attention as an area that is constantly evolving, with new products and services emerging at a dizzying pace.
