Synopsis

In today’s business world, the coexistence of different generations in the workplace significantly influences emotional dynamics and working relationships within organizations. This multi-generational structure goes beyond mere demographic diversity and produces decisive outcomes in terms of employee engagement, motivation, communication styles, and organizational performance. When examining the role of emotions within organizations, generational differences emerge in terms of emotional perception, expression, and expectations. With the impact of digitalization and globalization, intergenerational interactions have become more visible, directly affecting processes of organizational alignment and collaboration. It is considered that enhancing intergenerational emotional awareness makes significant contributions to strengthening psychological safety, reducing conflicts, and fostering a sustainable culture of cooperation.
