The earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, 2023 caused severe damage in the Islahiye district. This study examines the impacts of the disaster on the ecological balance of the region and evaluates how environmental factors should be considered during the reconstruction process. Based on field observations, literature review, and official reports, an environmentally sensitive and sustainable reconstruction model is proposed.
