Synopsis

The scientific and technological transformation of the twenty-first century is laying the groundwork for a profound paradigm shift in the field of health. Through big data analytics, deep learning algorithms, and clinical decision support systems, artificial intelligence is redefining the processes of diagnosis, treatment, and care while equipping health professionals with analytical and predictive capacities of unprecedented scope. Women's health, which constitutes one of the most critical domains for the application of this transformation, demands particular scientific attention and sensitivity owing to its biological distinctiveness, the inherent complexity of the female life cycle, and its multifaceted societal dimensions. This volume addresses the reflections of artificial intelligence on women's health from a multidimensional and interdisciplinary perspective. A broad spectrum of content  ranging from early diagnostic algorithms in gynecological cancers and breast cancer screening systems to personalized care models for elderly women and the integration of artificial intelligence into nursing practice  is presented to the reader within a systematic and comprehensive academic framework. Shaped by a patient-centered care philosophy and a clinical safety focus, this work also examines in depth the contributions of digital transformation to preventive health services and the strategic projections oriented toward the future. The distinctive contribution of this book lies in its positioning of artificial intelligence not merely as a technological instrument, but as a dynamic cognitive partner that supports clinical reasoning, reinforces patient safety, and elevates the quality of nursing science. This approach is grounded in an evidence-based academic discourse that harmonizes theoretical frameworks with practical application examples. Each chapter integrates current literature findings, international guideline recommendations, and the clinical wisdom distilled from field experience. It is our sincere hope that this work addressed to academics conducting research in women's health, nurses, midwives, physicians, and health policy experts  will make a meaningful scientific contribution to the field, enrich practice-oriented thinking processes, and serve as a fertile conceptual foundation for future research.
