Synopsis

“Health Education with Technology-Supported Serious Games: Design, Scenarios, and Applications” is a comprehensive academic book that examines technology-supported serious games in health education from a multidisciplinary perspective. The book consists of two main sections: theoretical foundations and technology applications.

The Part I: Theoretical Foundations covers the conceptual framework and basic principles of serious games in health education. In this context, game design models, the importance of intrinsic motivation, and theoretical approaches are examined in detail.

The Part II: Technology Applications focuses on the use of virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR) technologies in serious games. In addition, innovative methods such as escape room design and artificial intelligence-supported game strategies for health education are also presented comprehensively.

The book concretely demonstrates the potential of game-based learning in the field of health by supporting theoretical approaches with case studies, practical examples, and real-world scenarios. These examples provide a guiding framework for readers to transition from theory to practice.

The work aims to be an important reference for health education experts, game designers, educational technology developers, and academic researchers. It provides innovative perspectives and evidence-based approaches to technology integration in health education by bridging theory and practice.
