Synopsis

We are living in an era where traditional definitions are dissolving and reality is being transformed into digital representations. The individual is now an algorithmic entity defined solely by data; our desires, rather than stemming from personal discovery, are system-generated outputs. Our connections consist of identities trapped within echo chambers.

This book explores the impact of digital technologies on the human condition, interpreting technological advancements not merely as fascinating innovations, but as deeply consequential sociopolitical transformations that demand critical reflection. Through a multi-layered analysis ranging from artificial intelligence to blockchain, from the metaverse to surveillance capitalism, it examines the transformation of individuals, societies, and states along philosophical, economic, and social dimensions.

Rather than offering answers, it seeks to ask bold questions: Within the very speed it has created, how “human” can humanity remain? As we confront the promises of the digital revolution, what do we gain, and what do we lose?
