Synopsis

This chapter examines the sustainable production processes of natural dyes, their chemical properties, and their impact on occupational health and safety (OHS). The study analyzes the role of biochemistry and artificial intelligence technologies in increasing efficiency in natural dye production and improving OHS standards. The importance of green transformation policies, such as the European Union Green Deal and Turkey's 2053 Net Zero target, in integrating OHS with social policies is emphasized. The research addresses sustainable natural dye production's environmental, economic, and social dimensions through an integrated approach. It reveals the potential of artificial intelligence-supported risk assessment systems in OHS management.
