The rapid digital transformation occurring in science and technology today has also brought dentistry into a profound process of change. Pediatric dentistry, in particular, as a field that requires sensitivity according to different age groups, necessitates the swift and effective integration of digital technologies and artificial intelligence–supported methods. Academic clinicians who closely follow these developments aim to translate updated knowledge into clinical practice. Moreover, in our society, the prevalence of dental trauma and caries among children is high. Consequently, in cases of early tooth loss due to trauma or caries, it is of great importance to utilize methods that facilitate clinical decision-making processes and long-term treatment planning.

This work aims to systematically compile up-to-date knowledge for clinicians, academicians, and students working in the field of pediatric dentistry, while bringing the possibilities of digital transformation into clinical practice in a safe, measurable, and patient-centered manner.
