Synopsis

This section examines the concepts of perceived value, emotional attachment, and loyalty, which hold a significant place in consumer behavior literature, within a theoretical framework, exploring the relationship between these three concepts at a conceptual level. In today's markets, characterized by intense competition and increasing brand diversity, customer loyalty is shaped not only by functional benefits but also by emotional closeness to a brand. In this context, the section first defines the concept of perceived value, including its functional, emotional, symbolic, and social dimensions, and explains how the meaning ascribed to brands in the consumer's mind is formed.

Secondly, the role of emotional attachment in the brand-consumer relationship is examined, emphasizing that consumers' attachment to a brand is based not only on repurchase intention but also on the personal and emotional relationship they form with the brand. Finally, the concept of loyalty is explained from both behavioral and attitudinal perspectives, and the theoretical implications of perceived value and emotional attachment on loyalty are discussed. This section explains how these three concepts are integrated in the academic literature, and in particular, how emotional attachment serves as a "bridge" in transforming perceived value into loyalty.

This theoretical analysis aims to demonstrate to businesses and brand managers that not only rational factors such as product quality or price but also the meaningful, genuine, and emotional relationship the consumer establishes with the brand are among the key determinants of customer loyalty.
