Synopsis
This study examines the role that organizational culture plays on authorities. While culture is a means of emphasizing power and controlling diversity, it is argued that it restricts employees' freedom of expression by promoting a culture of silence. Therefore, the relationship between silence and forms of expression within the organization and the type of reaction it elicits in terms of connection, openness, and control mechanisms has been evaluated. In addition, the types of culture seen in organizations along the axes of opposition and alliance have been classified, and the various effects of these types on organizational loyalty, innovation, and conflict management have been revealed. The data reveals that organizational culture and power relations are a joint and powerful process. The study indicates that a measured culture-power reaction is of strategic importance for sustained success and employee participation.
