Synopsis

Adsorption is the process of gathering molecules or atoms on a surface, and this process interacts with many physical and chemical events in natural and artificial systems. Adsorption in living organisms plays a critical role in various biological processes from the intake of nutrients to toxins. In this article, the importance of adsorption in living life, mechanisms and application areas will be discussed extensively.
