Synopsis

The Pedagogy of English Language Teaching: Theory, Practice, and International Experience in EFL Education is a practice-oriented resource designed for pre-service and in-service English teachers. The book consists of thirty structured lessons that introduce core principles of EFL pedagogy and link them to practical classroom applications.

The theory is presented in a laconic and accessible style, using clear language that helps students grasp key ideas quickly without being overwhelmed by excessive detail. Each lesson includes learning outcomes, practice tasks, assessment criteria, and reflection questions to support skill development.

Covering cognitive and psychological factors, learning styles and strategies, teaching methodologies, grammar and vocabulary instruction, phonetics, integrated skills, and error analysis, the book provides a comprehensive foundation for teacher education.

A distinctive feature of the text is its integration of international ELT approaches with the educational contexts of Uzbekistan and Turkey, helping teachers adapt global methods to local needs.
