It is seen that environmental sustainability has recently gained great importance for businesses as well as for all humanity. Businesses now have to act in a more sensitive and susceptible towards the environment in order to ensure the sustainability of their businesses as well as environmental sustainability. Especially for tourism businesses that use natural resources intensively, environmental sustainability has a much more critical importance. In this respect, managers of tourism businesses should implement environmentally sensitive policies, strategies and practices, carry out or be a part of environmental social responsibility projects, create a green organizational climate and culture within the business, and encourage their staff to exhibit green organizational behaviors. In this context, in this chapter’s first section, sustainable tourism is addressed. In the second section, the concept of green organizational behavior is mentioned. In the third section, information on the importance of green organizational behaviors in the tourism sector, the factors affecting them, and how they are performed is given. In the conclusion part of the chapter, green organizational behaviors in the tourism sector are evaluated in general and the green organizational behaviors that the personnel working in the tourism sector should exhibit are comprehensively stated.
