Synopsis

When we look at modern definitions, physical education is as old as the beginning of human history. As a member of a hunter-gatherer society, it is essential for humans to use their bodies, especially during hunting. While using his body, he should move in the most ergonomic way possible, use his energy at the optimum level and move his body purposefully. Since the 17th century, sport, which is a word used since the 17th century, can be described as the common name of movements based on a certain discipline, based on rules and based on struggle. However, when physical education is synthesised with sports, it has important benefits in physical, mental and psychological, sociological and social life participation. With this study, we will examine the effect of physical education and sports lessons on the participation of primary and secondary school students in social life.
