Synopsis

The aim of this study is to examine the importance of gastronomy and gastronomy tourism in an academic framework and to examine how these fields contribute to important objectives such as preserving cultural heritage, strengthening social ties and diversifying the tourism industry. Gastronomy and gastronomy tourism contribute to local economies while at the same time preserving cultural diversity and playing an important role in achieving sustainable development goals. In this context, the study aims to emphasize the importance of gastronomy and gastronomy tourism by examining their social, economic and cultural dimensions in depth.
