Synopsis
The digital age refers to a period characterized by the proliferation of technology and the internet. This era has brought transformative changes to individuals, society, and organizations. The increased connectivity that this period has brought has resulted in various advantages, but also challenges such as privacy violations. Well-being represents a holistic state of well-being that encompasses the career, financial, social, physical, and societal dimensions of an individual, including elements such as happiness, a sense of purpose, and a feeling of control. Employees are the most valuable resource in the workplace, and their well-being is also among the most important issues. Employee well-being is critical to productivity and employee engagement, encompassing the overall quality of physical and mental health in the workplace. In the digital age, the use of smart technologies increases performance, job security, and collaboration; at the same time, it offers opportunities to manage risks such as stress and burnout in real time. To address these challenges, it is important to take strategic steps such as investing in human resources technologies, offering comprehensive well-being programs that include coaching-based leadership, combating technostress, and providing mental health services. The goal of these strategic steps is to maximize employee well-being and, consequently, corporate performance in an environment driven by technological transformation.
