This study comprehensively examines the important role played by accounting information systems (AIS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions in achieving sustainable competitive advantage for businesses. While accounting information systems provide a solid foundation for decision-making processes by ensuring that financial data is managed accurately, precisely and regularly, ERP systems offer operational efficiency and compatibility by integrating various business functions. In this study, the functions of the advantages provided by MBS and ERP systems in creating competitive advantage and the contributions of these systems to the long-term success of the business are examined in detail. In particular, it is emphasized how critical cost control, advanced data security and rapid adaptation ability provided by the effective use of these systems are in terms of sustainable growth. As a result, it is emphasized that whether these systems work effectively or not increases sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
