Synopsis
The concept of transhumanism, which is based on the perfection of human beings and reveals this perfection in a long healthy life, a better intelligence and a happier life ideal, was first used by Julien Huxley in 1957. Transhumanism has a structure that advocates the human species to develop biologically, physically and mentally by following scientific and technological developments, that is, with new possibilities, and that the human species can overcome itself, What is intended to be done with transhumanism is to put forward a human ideal that transcends itself in pursuit of new people and new values that transform and change with the possibilities of technologies. Here, there are four major technologies abbreviated as NBEB, namely nanotechnology, biotechnology, big data, information technology, which is the internet of things, and cognitive science based on artificial intelligence-robotic technology. Thus, transhumanism bases itself on the possibilities offered by science and technology. Artificial intelligence technologies are one of the most important of these possibilities. Transhumanism, ‘super healthy long life, super intelligence, super happiness’, which is one of the three basic ideals of transhumanism, tries to better answer the question of how to realise superior intelligence, which is one of its three basic ideals, on the basis of improving the thinking, learning and information processing skills of humans and increasing their abilities by using artificial intelligence technologies. Artificial intelligence is a tool that plays an important role in the realisation of transhumanist goals. As a result, the relationship between artificial intelligence and transhumanism is not only a necessary relationship for a better human ideal, but also plays a key role for the realisation of ideals. This study will try to reveal the relationship between artificial intelligence and transhumanism.
