Today, digitalization manifests itself in almost every field. This study examines the digital services provided via the internet by metropolitan municipalities in Türkiye. The aim of the study is to reveal the importance that local governments attach to digitalization and to demonstrate the role of digitalization in public services. The study is limited to 30 metropolitan municipalities. Within this scope, e-services and online services available on the official websites of metropolitan municipalities were examined, and a descriptive analysis was conducted. The findings of the study show that services such as city guides, payment and collection transactions, debt inquiries, on-duty pharmacy services, solution-oriented call center services, and registry, tax, and collection inquiries stand out as common services. These services continue to be developed by local governments. By systematically presenting the digital services of metropolitan municipalities, this study makes a significant contribution to the relevant literature.
