Current Approaches in Sports Businesses.
Synopsis
Sports centres have become businesses that are increasingly in demand for various reasons in recent years, and their turnover has significantly increased. In situations that necessitate the dynamic tracking of rapid innovative movements, managing both technological innovations and technology-compatible facilities and human resources is not a straightforward management strategy. Within the modern business understanding of our era, which makes multi-factor management a necessity in businesses, it is essential to determine strategies that put the sports centre in an advantageous position in terms of sports technology investment, calculate the risks, make investment plans according to financial risks, and closely monitor the movements of competing businesses in the market. Along with the positive effects that technology will have on the brand, technological investments to be adapted and implemented in the sports centre should be prioritised, especially in newly built centres, from the concept-design stage within the framework of financial possibilities, if not all, then according to priority.
Wearable technologies, IoT-based smart adaptive devices, virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) systems, and web-based applications should be used in sports centres, and visually accessible sports products should be offered to members quickly and satisfactorily through the active use of communication channels. In the coming period, businesses should adopt a more proactive approach to addressing both the increasing expectations and the integration of technology.
