Today, the term "sports facility" is used to describe any type of sports area that provides sports services, is designated for this purpose, and is equipped accordingly. Sports services are considered a vital component of the sports industry, and sports facilities where sporting events take place are an important element within sports services. Particularly with the technological advancements of the late 20th century, the innovations in mass communication media have not only conveyed innovations and developments around the world to people, but have also affected many aspects of life. Therefore, sports facilities play a very important role in promoting and developing sports. The aim of this study is to examine the importance and classification of sports facilities, which are crucial for sports activities, and the different business areas within these facilities.
