Synopsis
With the development of digital technologies, the field of graphic design has undergone a significant transformation. In particular, virtual reality, simulation technologies, and artificial intelligence-based design tools are redefining visual production processes. Illusion is one of the most important characteristics of modern civilization. Digital Art, a new interdisciplinary field formed by algorithmic thinking, system design, and programming as an interface between machines and humans, questions the terms real, imaginary, and virtual, while reconstructing humanity's interest in the real and the unreal at the intersection of design and technology. Digitalism, one of these new technologies that challenge the capitalist system and form the infrastructure of the new world order, has enabled the construction of the mental dimension beyond physical reality through technology. It has also given rise to the metaverse, meaning beyond the universe, containing a hybrid version of virtual reality. In metaverses, hybrid reality spaces combine both the reflection of physical reality and its separate virtual dimensions, as well as a related form of both, giving rise to the information visualization of artificial intelligence with experimental interface technologies in hybrid art applications. The pinnacle of graphic design and visual production is Artificial Intelligence. Digital art has emerged as "the branch of science that examines how we can enable artificial systems to perform every cognitive activity that natural systems can do, but with a greater level of success." Contemporary artists, using various methods and techniques in different dynamics, have created works that create illusions in the viewer's perception, bringing with them a new critique. Digitalism has given a significant impetus to the diversity and transformation of works in the visual arts. However, it has also created serious problems regarding copyright and copying, ensuring the originality of the works. This study aims to contribute to the literature by critically evaluating the definition of "a superior and valuable work resulting from creativity and skill" in the integration of art objects produced by new technologies, questioning intellectual property law, unauthorized access, and the ethical use of works.
