Synopsis

This study aims to examine advertising campaign design processes within a theoretical framework as part of graphic design education. In today's communication environment, advertising campaigns are considered multi-stage design processes involving target audience analysis, strategy development, creative idea generation, and media planning. Within this scope, the concept of advertising and the stages of campaign creation were evaluated in relation to graphic design production processes. The study was conducted using a qualitative research approach based on literature review and descriptive analysis. It examined how advertising campaigns are reproduced in print, outdoor, motion, and digital media and analyzed the function of basic design elements such as typography, color, composition, and visual hierarchy in advertising communication. The findings reveal that graphic design in advertising campaign processes cannot be explained solely by formal arrangement; it must be approached as a holistic communication design field that includes research, strategy development, and media-focused thinking. The integrated evaluation of advertising campaign design processes within graphic design education contributes to the development of design students' strategic thinking, media adaptation, and conceptual production skills. This study focuses on the theoretical and professional importance of advertising campaign design in the context of graphic design education.
