Synopsis

This study examines the role of cultural heritage in tourism experiences within the framework of archaeotherapy. It argues that archaeological sites function not only as spaces for historical interpretation but also as therapeutic environments that can enhance visitors’ psychological well-being. In this context, the experiential and healing dimensions of cultural heritage are explored from a tourism perspective, highlighting the potential contributions of archaeotherapy to the tourism literature.
