Synopsis

Today, we are experiencing one of the most comprehensive transformation processes in world history, with digital technology rapidly evolving. This developing technology significantly impacts business life, as it does every other field. On one hand, the rapid change in technology, and on the other hand, climate change, the necessity of efficient use of scarce resources, and the need to prevent environmental problems, increasingly emphasize the importance of green transformation and sustainability practices. For businesses adopting an open systems approach, adapting to these changes, maintaining their position among competitors, and ensuring sustainability are crucial aspects of business management. Traditional management approaches are being replaced by data-driven decision-making processes, AI-supported applications, environmentally friendly models, and sustainable business strategies. Therefore, this situation has led to sustainability becoming a significant strategic priority for business management. This book examines this transformation from different perspectives, shedding light on how sustainability can be adapted to business management and how businesses can consider their responsibilities to the environment and society while adapting to change. Each chapter in the book clarifies current and value-creating approaches to sustainable business management by adapting the concept of sustainability to business management. I would like to thank all the authors who contributed to the preparation of this work for sharing their knowledge and experience and making valuable contributions to the scientific body; and I hope that this book will be a useful reference source for researchers, practitioners, and future leaders.
