The tradition of storytelling serves as a bridge connecting the past, present, and future of nations. Stories and epics that instill a sense of belonging in people are among the most important elements that maintain national unity and solidarity. The stories of Dede Korkut are regarded as one of the most significant works of Turkish folk literature. These narratives have been transmitted from generation to generation for centuries through oral storytelling traditions. Today, with the opportunities provided by technological advancements, it has become possible to approach these stories from different perspectives.

The aim of this article is to visually reinterpret the character of Dede Korkut, as portrayed in his own epics, through the use of artificial intelligence. In recent years, artificial intelligence has developed rapidly and has demonstrated human-like performance in many fields, including natural language processing, image recognition, and game playing. Through the use of this technology, it becomes possible to examine the character of Dede Korkut from a different perspective and to reinterpret him visually.

This article presents examples of the visual reinterpretation of the Dede Korkut character through artificial intelligence. These examples are intended to demonstrate how artificial intelligence can be utilized in the preservation and reinterpretation of cultural heritage. Furthermore, the article discusses the potential impact of artificial intelligence on human-centered fields such as culture and literature.
