The science of Akâid, which encompasses the principles of faith of the Islamic religion, possesses great importance as it contains the main elements addressed by Töreli Turkish Literature. Töre, shaped under the guidance of the science of Akâid, has found expression in genres such as akâid-nâme, tevhîd, esmâ’ü’l-hüsnâ, esmâ-i nebî, mûcizât-ı nebî, mîrâc-nâme/mîrâciyye, şefâ‘at-nâme, and ahvâl-i kıyâmet while being transmitted through literature. This study, which discusses the role of the science of Akâid in the construction of töre and its literary reflections, evaluates how töre is supported by creedal principles and how literature processes this by examining the faith-based contents of these genres. In the research, a content analysis of literary genres was conducted based on the question, “What role has the science of Akâid played in the transmission of töre in Turkish Literature?” Furthermore, it will be revealed how töre, which relies on the foundations of faith and belief, gained depth with the influence of the science of Akâid while being transmitted through literature. Aimed at understanding the spiritual elements of töre, this study intends to offer an original contribution to the literature regarding Töreli Turkish Literature.
