Synopsis
Virtual reality provides students with a realistic and interactive learning environment, providing them with the opportunity to safely develop their knowledge and skills before clinical practice. Literature findings show that virtual reality-supported education increases nursing students' practice skills, strengthens their self-confidence, and positively affects patient safety. In addition, virtual reality technology adapts to individual learning speed thanks to repeatable scenarios, while also increasing learning motivation by reducing the fear of making mistakes. In this context, it is emphasized that virtual reality applications integrated into nursing education have significant potential as an innovative learning tool that supports traditional methods.
